Dub Monk Review:
I recently purchased a pair of double monk strap shoes from Yoox to fill the gap of brown leather shoes in my wardrobe. On SALE still!

Color: Medium brown
Sole: Leather with half rubber heal.
Over all the shoe is extremely comfortable. The stitching on the leather seems to be decent with the exception of one part on the sole where it wasn’t cleaning cut off.
I think the only thing that bothers me with this shoe is that fake weathering they tried to do with the metal buckles. It looks like they tried too hard to make it seem older than it really is. It might be the minimalist Architect in me, but I would rather go for the clean polished metal over the fake tarnished one.
Overall I would give this shoe a 8 out of 10
I knocked 2 points off because I question the true quality of the leather when I compare it to my black Magnanni cap toe shoes. Also for the fake tarnished metal.
But at the price point of $138 I can’t really complain.

A few days ago the firm I work for had a press release for one of our projects. Although I didn’t work on this one personally, I thought I should represent the firm and blog it.
